Alegria Art offers clients within the UAE the possibility to lease an artwork at a fraction of the total cost of full ownership. Leasing an original artwork through Alegria Art offers clients more flexibility and makes it easier and affordable to decorate your house, office, commercial or medical location with a beautiful original art work or to build a collection of artwork at once. It is a perfect way to spread the costs and to improve your sense of style and happiness, whether it is your living space, reception area, meeting room or display space.

Leasing an art work through Alegria Art is possible in 2 ways:

1.      Operational lease:

In case of operational lease the art work will only be leased and not purchased (leasing without buying). Alegria Art retains ownership of the artwork, at the end of the lease contract the client will have the possibility to purchase the artwork.

Terms & conditions:

1.      The monthly operational lease rate will amount to 2,5% of the initial selling price of the painting

2.     A minimum of 1 year lease is required. The lease term will be automatically extended for another 12 months if no notice is given. If the client wishes to end the lease contract, notice needs to be given 2 months before the lease contract ends.

3.      Changing an artwork is free for the 1st time (excluding delivery costs outside Dubai), after that an artwork can be changed at an additional cost of AED 100. Changing an artwork is allowed for maximum three times during the lease period. In case of changing an artwork, the lease contract will be adjusted according to the value of the new artwork.

4.      Monthly lease charges have to be paid every month in advance before the 1st of the month and a deposit of amounting to 1 month lease charge has to be paid together with the 1st lease payment.

5.      If a painting is damaged, the client has to compensate Alegria Art for the costs involved, insurance is not included. 

6.      If the client is located outside Dubai, the leased art work will be delivered to and collected from the customer at a charge of AED 1 per km.

7.      Assembly of the art work is not included but will be very easy. The art work will be delivered with a hanging cord or other hanging material at the back of the artwork. If assembly of the art work is desirable by the client, there will be an extra one-time charge.

8.      At the end of the lease contract the client will have the possibility to purchase the art work at the initial selling price. In case the client would like to purchase the artwork, 50% of all lease fees already paid by the Client to Alegria Art will be offset against the initial purchase price.

II.     Financial lease:

In case of financial lease the lessee has the benefits and risks of economic ownership of the artwork. Ownership of the artwork in the formal and legal sense is transferred to the lessee at the end of the lease term.

Terms & conditions:

1.      The monthly financial lease rate, depending on the number of paintings leased, will amount to:

2.      Monthly lease charges have to be paid every month in advance before the 1st of the month and a deposit amounting to 1 month lease charge has to be paid together with the 1st lease payment.

4.      If the client is located outside Dubai, the leased art work will be delivered to and collected from the customer at a charge of AED 1 per km.

Most of our paintings we can deliver out of storage. Once we received your order we will check the availability of the art work. If the requested painting is not yet in storage we will inform you as soon as possible.  A confirmation by e-mail will be sent to you containing the confirmation of your order, lease agreement, payment and delivery details of your painting(s). Once the 1st payment and the deposit (in case of financial lease) has been received on our bank account the art work(s) order will be delivered immediately to your mailing address. For special orders please note the the delivery time will be longer.
